Traveling can be stressful at times, especially when you are constantly bombarded with hacks, tips and seemingly perfect trips posted online by your friends. Can traveling really be that easy? Why do things ALWAYS seem to go well for them, but not you?
Truth is, I doubt they are having a completely stress-free trip. I know none of my trips are 100% smooth and perfect in regards to nothing going wrong or not quite the way I had planned, no matter how much I plan ahead of time. (Insert allllll of my examples of “bad” things here, like how sick I was in Switzerland/France, how I ended up paying way more for a rental car than planned because I forgot to read the fine print, when I forgot my backup portable battery charger. The list really could go on and on).
The fact is, we all learn with experience. Plus, I find that most mishaps end up being funny later, sometimes the most memorable experience of a trip or the best learning experience ever. So, with that in mind, I am going to share tips and tricks with you. Sometimes it may be just helpful information, sometimes travel hacks and sometimes just what I wish I had known then what I know now. Hope it helps!
